The Analog Edition

All photographs in The Analog Edition are captured using analog film cameras, working under the same conditions as the music itself, unpredictable, immediate, and without repetition. Each frame is the result of a single, conscious exposure, shaped by timing, instinct, and presence in the moment.

The visual character of the images, grain, contrast, and tonal depth, is inherent to the analog process. These qualities are not added in post-production, but formed through light, film, and the physical environment of the venue.

Selected photographs are available as fine art prints. For these editions, the original negatives are carefully digitized using a 100-megapixel capture process and professional scanning equipment, ensuring exceptional detail, tonal accuracy, and archival quality while preserving the integrity of the original film.

Below, the work is presented in curated albums, each documenting a specific moment, artist, or performance captured on film.

The Hives

Gröna Lund, Stockholm 2002

In 2002, I stood in front of the stage at Gröna Lund with my Konica FT-1 and a fresh roll of film. I remember it like it was yesterday. That night marked the beginning of my photographic journey with The Hives. Since then, I’ve photographed the band both on and off stage — for 23 years.

The Hellacopters

Lokomotivet, Eskilstuna 2025

I found a used Ricoh 500GX on a secondhand that was impossible to focus with, but it was a lot of fun to use.
